Gustav Klimt’s ‘kiss’ is an untold love story that takes place halfway between him and his beloved Emilie Flöge. I redesigned my background in the style of his work. I appreciate my daughter’s participation in this long endeavor because she served as my model. (The painting’s original can be found at a Vienna museum. Painted in the Art Nouveau style, Klimt inspired by Roman mosaics in Italy, his works contains a gold color finish that makes them look like icons).
